Economie dei territori

The cycle of appointments called Economie dei territori is back, a format curated by the reference realities of the Trentino panorama

The “Economie dei territori” program of the Festival dell’Economia di Trento offers a journey through the major transformations reshaping the way we live, work, and inhabit our local areas. At the heart of the program is a key question that intertwines with the main themes of this edition: what future are we building—and for whom?

The protagonists of this narrative are primarily young people, who are at the core of many meetings: from labor challenges to entrepreneurial opportunities, and from relationships with public administration to education. The schedule highlights the expectations, difficulties, and new possibilities for a generation called to navigate an increasingly complex world.

Great attention is also dedicated to artificial intelligence and the digital realm, which are profoundly transforming the economy and society. These innovations are addressed not only from a technological perspective but also regarding their ethical, social, and employment implications.

Another central theme is work: new professions, market changes, startups, and enterprises, but also craftsmanship and freelance professions, offering a concrete look at the opportunities and challenges awaiting those who wish to build their own path.

The true added value of this programming is its focus on territories as living, dynamic places—on cities and living spaces—balancing new social needs and urban transformations.

Building this path, which unites local perspectives and global scenarios, is a broad and diverse network of stakeholders from the trentino region: institutions, universities, research centers, trade associations, businesses, and civil society entities. This collection of diverse voices dialogues with each other and with national and international guests to contribute to a shared vision of the future.
