Palazzo Calepini, currently serving as the headquarters for Fondazione Caritro, dates back to the late 16th century and was built at the behest of the noble Calepini family from the Giudicarie valleys. Between 1823 and 1844, Palazzo Calepini served as the seat of the Prince Bishops of Trento. In 1999, the building was acquired by the foundation to be used as their institutional headquarters.

He was one of the three Italian representatives at the 2018 G7 forum on AI and one of the authors of the Italian Strategic Agenda on AI. He coordinated the development of the iCub robot, the reference platform for research in “Physical AI”.
