Palazzo Calepini, currently serving as the headquarters for Fondazione Caritro, dates back to the late 16th century and was built at the behest of the noble Calepini family from the Giudicarie valleys. Between 1823 and 1844, Palazzo Calepini served as the seat of the Prince Bishops of Trento. In 1999, the building was acquired by the foundation to be used as their institutional headquarters.

Expert in economic and statistical analysis. Since 1991 he has led the Research Office of FIPE (Italian Federation of Public Exercises) and since 2017 he has held the role of Deputy General Director. It is a reference point for the analysis of consumption, the agri-food supply chain and the tourism market. He has extensive professional experience in social research and applied economics institutes.

For thirty years, he has focused on national policies for change management and the economic and social regeneration of cities and territories. Formerly the Head of the Research Department at ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities), where he managed innovation processes of national and European significance, he is currently the Head of the Urban Planning and Urban Regeneration Sector at Confcommercio.
