Palazzo Sardagna, current home of the offices of the Rectorate of the University of Trento, is one of the masterpieces of Mannerism and early Baroque in Trentino. Dating from the 16th century, the building is built around a large central courtyard, the largest among those found in the city's historic buildings. From the exterior, walking through the entrance hall embellished with heraldic coats of arms, one enters the courtyard punctuated by a double order of loggias and long galleries.

He has over twenty-five years of experience working on energy markets and technologies. His research interests focus on energy economics, regulation, market design, liberalization, energy and climate policy, low-carbon technologies, utilities strategy, critical materials and the decarbonization of energy-intensive industries. He regularly participates as a speaker to numerous conferences and workshops.

Together with Paola Springhetti, he co-authored Corso base di giornalismo (Las, 2014). He has received the State Street Institutional Press Awards in the “Young Talent” and “Best In-depth Article” categories, as well as the “Pasquale De Vita” Award for energy reporting.
