Once the seat of the provincial and regional councils, this splendid room inside the Palazzo della Provincia Autonoma di Trento (formerly the Imperial Hotel Trento) takes its name from the artist who designed, furnished and fully decorated it between 1953 and 1956 — Rovereto-born Fortunato Depero, whose artistic trajectory spanned Futurism, Cubism and Abstract Art, resulting in his unmistakable style.

After three years of experience in London, he landed at Radio 24 in 1999 where he covered finance and savings and later economic news. He hosts "Focus Economia" every day and has been Deputy Executive Director of Radio 24 since 2013.

A tenacious defender of autonomy, he ensured the agreement on the reform of the Statute approved after years of waiting. Since 2022 he has been the first point of contact between Italian government and local authorities; previously Minister in 2004 and 2008. Member of Parliament for Lega since 1992, four times Vice-President of the Senate. In 2021, also chaired the Parity Commission ‘of the Six’.

Maurizio Fugatti has been President of the Autonomous Province of Trento since November 3, 2018. He has also served as the President of the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige, a member of the Chamber of Deputies for three legislatures, and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Health.

Arno Kompatscher was born in Fiè allo Sciliar (BZ) on March 19, 1971. A law graduate, he began his third term as President of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano in 2024, a position he has held since 2014. He is currently President of the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige/South Tyrol.
