Ayşe Zarakol is Professor of International Relations at the University of Cambridge, where she is also a Politics Fellow affiliated with Emmanuel College. Once the seat of the provincial and regional councils, this splendid room inside the Palazzo della Provincia Autonoma di Trento (formerly the Imperial Hotel Trento) takes its name from the artist who designed, furnished and fully decorated it between 1953 and 1956 — Rovereto-born Fortunato Depero, whose artistic trajectory spanned Futurism, Cubism and Abstract Art, resulting in his unmistakable style.
