Elena Beccalli is the Rector of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a full professor at the School of Banking, Finance, and Insurance Sciences, of which she was Dean from 2014 to 2024. She is a research associate at the London School of Economics and at the University of St. Andrews.
Daniele Bellasio is deputy editor of Il Sole 24 Ore. Law graduate, he studied Big Data Analysis and the evolution of information in the digital environment. He directed La Prealpina and worked for Il Foglio, Class/CNBC and La Repubblica.
Giuseppe Lupo is a writer and essayist and teaches at the Catholic University of Milan. He has published numerous novels with Marsilio, several of which have won literary awards, including the Campiello Selection Prize and the Viareggio Prize. In 2025 he published Storia d’amore e macchine da scrivere, and in 2026 Medioccidente. He contributes to the cultural pages of «Il Sole-24 Ore»
Palazzo Sardagna, current home of the offices of the Rectorate of the University of Trento, is one of the masterpieces of Mannerism and early Baroque in Trentino. Dating from the 16th century, the building is built around a large central courtyard, the largest among those found in the city's historic buildings. From the exterior, walking through the entrance hall embellished with heraldic coats of arms, one enters the courtyard punctuated by a double order of loggias and long galleries.
